Information & Character The unique taste of this red wine from Alicante reflects the best Monastrell and Tempranillo vines. A selection of vintages that mature in the sun and are swayed by the gentle Mediterranean breeze. Alcanta Crianza is the result of a perfect fusion between the Mediterranean and our country. This red wine from Alicante rests in barrels in American and French oak barrels for twelve months, later refined in the bottle for at least twelve more months, before it is finally released on the market. Fruity, sweet with hints of currants and the unique taste of this wine reflects the best of the Monastrell and Tempranillo grapes.

Production The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged only in oak tanks.

Soil Clayey soils with a high proportion of stone and sand.

Goes well with charcuterie, lighter meat dishes as well as pizza and pasta.

About the Producer

Bodegas Bocopa was founded in 1987, when a group of wineries in Alicante came together to improve the marketing of their production. So it was decided to park the sale of bulk and focus more on bottled wine in order to sell as much as possible of the production of wine cellars in Alicante. A decision that would be fundamental for the future of the company. Today, that future is already past.
