Information & Character Maset's pinot noir vineyards are located near the Serra de Pàndols, more than 350 meters above sea level. A delicate, capricious grape that enjoys ideal conditions for excellent grape ripening from clay limestone soils and the influence of the Ebro River and the Mediterranean Sea. A magnificent fruit that allows us to produce this perfumed, fresh and fruity wine. Fresh red fruit (red cherries and raspberries) on a perfumed floral background. Notes of liquorice, lavender and black pepper. Fresh, smooth and with a slightly sweet long, fruity finish.

Production The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged only in steel tanks.

Soil Limestone soils with occasional clay soil

Goes well with seafood, sushi, fresh fish stews or hearty salads.

About the Producer

Maset has a tradition of producing wine in Catalonia dating back to 1777. Cava production started a little later, around the end of the 19th century, and today they produce a series of different sparkling wines. In addition to Catalonia, the family also owns vineyards in Priorat, Rioja, Ribera del Duero and Galicia. Maset's Cava style is very dry and fruity, with a fresh acidity. The vineyards are completely organically cultivated and the production is done with great respect for the tradition of Cava production.
