Grape Tempranillo

Information & Character The grapes are selected manually from the Finca Miralmonte vineyard from 1953. The soil is clayey with some pebbles. We cold macerate the fruit and afterwards it will ferment for 21-23 days at a maximum of 23 degrees. The aging lasts for 11 months in French, Hungarian and American oak barrels. This is how they achieve a wine with great fruitiness and a clear wooden structure, while the characteristic characteristics and identity of the Tinta de Toro variety dominate: elegant and delicate in our glasses. Complex aromatic intensity, balsamic composed with different notes of black fruits. Subtle and elegant with strength and personality, correct acidity, fruity and spicy notes, becoming an elegant combination and finesse.

Production The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged only in oak tanks.

Soil Sandy and silty soils.

Goes well with charcuterie, creamy meats, cheese, pizza and pasta dishes.

About the Producer

Rejadorada is the fruit of the passion of two restless minds: Luis Remesal, who took up the family winemaking tradition in 1999, and José A Fernández `Chenco`, a leading oenologist of many years in Spain. Together they founded the Bodegas Rejadorada Palace and in 2003 they inaugurated the current winery in San Román de Honija, where once again two passionate non-conformists have taken over the family tradition: Mario Remesal and the oenologist Roberto Martín, adding passion to all their processing.
