Information & Character Pazzo (meaning 'crazy' in Italian) is a 'funky', unpretentious blend - an inviting wine that is wonderful to drink in its youth. In addition to its handsome appearance, it exhibits a nose of red berry aromas and is accompanied by spirited, sweet, lingering fruit flavors. We have had incredible success and growth with this unique blend. Full-bodied aroma carrying lots of red and black fruits, unsmoked tobacco, chocolate and peppery notes, lots of rich red and black fruits with a full but not overwhelming taste, mild tannins and with moderate acidity

Production takes place at low temperature in oak barrels.

About the Producer

On the sun-drenched, vine-dotted slopes of Napa Valley, overlooking the town of St. Helena. Possessed by an unwavering desire to create something of their own, and to make an immediate and lasting impression, they set out to produce a signature wine they could be proud to put their name to. It was 1993 and the wine had a twinkle in its eye. Winemaking involves equal parts mystery and mischief. With this combination at play, we came up with not just one, but two, proprietary blends. First and foremost, Bacio Divino - a divine kiss of predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon, with added dimensions of Sangiovese and occasional other varietals. And in 1999, its lively little sister Pazzo was released.
