About the Producer
Jean-Baptiste AUDY is a family-owned company that has been in the wine business for a long time. In 1906, Jean-Baptiste AUDY himself settled in Libourne where he opened a wine trading company along the Dordogne River at the famous Quai du Priourat. He acted as distributor for all the top wines of Brodeaux, and particularly preferred wines with the Pomerol appellation. Soon the family owned several vineyards, including Clos du Clocher, Courlat, Clinet, Bonalgue and La Cabanne, and the company increasingly took its place in the small circle of distributors of Bordeaux wines. Their century-old wine cellar on the Quai du Priourat contains, among other things, several million bottles, many of which are sold internationally.
