Information & Character Serve at 16-18 degrees, preferably with classic meat dishes, cheeses or game dishes. The blend of grapes here makes a complex wine. Merlot gives red fruit and smooth tannins, Cabernet gives intense color, which is enhanced by the aging in the barrels. Fruity, nuanced aroma with barrel character, hints of black currants, dark chocolate, plums, cedar, herbs and vanilla. About the Producer

Family property dating back to 1925, this 24 hectare Cru Bourgeois (HVE3 certified) consists of several plots spread over three municipalities. Château La Croix Du Breuil has long been managed by the Jean family. The plots are located near Civrac en Médoc. The grape variety consists of 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon. A very fine, elegant wine is produced from it. The wine has a beautiful dark red color. Fine, rich notes of red fruits (currants, raspberries, ...) develop on the nose. After a smooth start, the wine turns out to be fine and round on the palate and ends with a spicy finish.
