Information & Character The 2020 vintage is a vintage characterized by climatic contrasts. The mild winter temperatures allowed the vines to bud early. Alternating precipitation in the spring and drought during the summer give the 2020 vintage its specificity. Warm and beautiful weather in September provided the perfect ripeness to produce a fantastic vintage with a classic blend. Marquis de Terme 2020 is the perfect example of elegance and balance. Aroma with roasted barrel character, hints of blackcurrant, plum, cedar, coffee and dark chocolate. Production The must fermented in temperature-controlled cement tanks and then in French oak barrels for 18 months.

About the Producer

The history of Château Marquis de Terme begins in 1762, when the estate was included in the dowry of Mademoiselle Ledoulx d'Emplet on her marriage to François de Peguilhan, Marquis De Terme. The estate, which has belonged to the Sénéclauze family since 1935, has a 260-year history. Cuvée 1762 is an expression of this timelessness. It is made to represent the personality and typicality of our terroir. All 26 lots of the vineyard are used in the blend.
