Information & Character White wine based on the Incrocio Manzoni variety, a clone studied by Prof. Luigi Manzoni by combining Pinot Bianco and Riesling Renano. The name "Rapui" is inspired by its small, short and squat bunches. For its characteristics of finesse and elegance, balanced alcohol content and acidity, it is used for the production of high quality wines. From the vinification we get a wine with the characteristic delicate aroma of Pinot Bianco and the typical very fine aroma of Riesling Renan. The wine is full-bodied and very balanced. Clean and inviting almost exotic aroma with sweet Riesling tones and white floral, herbal elements followed by lots of limestone minerals. The wine is dry with high acidity and a wonderfully full body supported by honey, citrus and minerals.

Goes with Perfect with fish, white meat and vegetarian dishes.

About the Producer

It all began in 1988, when Aldo and Riccardo released the first bottle of Barolo under the Seghesio label. Today in the company next to Riccardo are the nephews Michela, Sandro and Marco. Together they take care of all aspects of the business: in the vineyard from pruning to picking, in the cellar from winemaking to sales, in the office from administration to marketing. The estate extends over 10 hectares of vineyards that produce around 60,000 bottles.
