Information & Character It comes from the Cru of Castelletto from the youngest part of the vineyard. It has been aged in oak barrels to satisfy the most "classic" tastes. Fine and elegant with a garnet red color and a floral and balsamic bouquet. In the mouth the tannins are mild and balanced. Maceration on the skins in rotary fermenters with temperature control between 25-30°C for about 10-15 days. After malolactic fermentation it is aged for about 24 months in large Slavic oak barrels at HL 50. Aromas of red fruits, fresh flavors with soft and balanced tannins.

Production 10-15 days of fermentation and skin maceration at 25-30 degrees in stainless steel tanks.

Soil Lime and clay-rich soil and to some extent sand.

Perfect for charcuterie, game and grilled meats and cheese.

About the Producer

It all began in 1988, when Aldo and Riccardo released the first bottle of Barolo under the Seghesio label. Today in the company next to Riccardo are the nephews Michela, Sandro and Marco. Together they take care of all aspects of the business: in the vineyard from pruning to picking, in the cellar from winemaking to sales, in the office from administration to marketing. The estate extends over 10 hectares of vineyards that produce around 60,000 bottles.
