Information & Character Ebesco is inspired by the Latin "Erubescere" which means "to blush". It is a Tuscan IGT made with Merlot and Cabernet Franc (65-35%) from young vines and represents a nice concept for relaxed and easy drinking: the varieties are vinified separately in concrete, then blended and left to rest for 6 months in concrete tanks, finishing with three months in bottle before being released on the market. In the glass there are all the colors of freshness and drinkability typical of a carefree Bordeaux-style blend with its small black fruits, a slight hint of spices. Deep ruby red color with violet highlights. The wine opens up with intense aromas of wild strawberries, wet leaves, woodland and licorice on the nose. On the palate it reveals fine-grained tannins balanced by a refreshing acidity & fine elegance.

Production 20 days of fermentation in concrete tanks, then the wine is aged for 6 months in tanks and another 3 months in bottle.

Soil Limestone, schist, clay and volcanic soil.

Perfect for charcuterie, cheeses, soups and Tuscan cuisine.

About the Producer

Villanoviana was born from the passion for good wine and the love for this area of Tuscany, from our desire to return to the roots of our culture and cultivate our land in an environmentally responsible way. That is why we use only natural methods in the vineyard, such as the Bokashi method, which is unique here in Bolgheri. The proximity to the sea and the perfect sun exposure give the wines a mineral character and a fresh acidity that fully respects the unique characteristics of our terroir. Marco and Barbara are Tuscan by adoption and with Emilian roots and also married.
