About the Producer
"Great wine doesn't just taste good, it also tells a story," Benita and her father Gerhard J. Lobner are convinced. It should be shaped by the landscape, the climate and the personality of the winemaker. The successful vineyard manager of the Viennese vineyards Mayer am Pfarrplatz and Rotes Haus has also been responsible for the family vineyard in Mannersdorf an der March since 2014 and runs it together with his daughter Benita. With ten hectares of vineyards, the focus is on Grüner Veltliner and Riesling, where Riesling is the family's great passion. This demanding variety finds ideal conditions in the terraced vineyards in March. Father and daughter also work with Welsriesling.
