Information & Character The wine comes from Señorio de Barahonda in Yecla, Spain. It is made from the Monastrell and Syrah grapes and has a beautiful light pink color. In the aromas you will find a pleasant feeling of red fruits. In the taste it is crispy, pleasant and fruity fresh with good acidity. The wine is best enjoyed at 7-9 degrees and is perfect for fish, shellfish, light meat and other "light" dishes. Clear and bright with floral aromas and red fruit tones, fresh with crispy acidity and good length. Rich and intense Sweet mouth, good volume and intensity.

Production The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged only in steel tanks.

About the Producer

The history of Bodegas Barahonda begins around 1850, when Pedro Candela Soriano began producing and selling small quantities of wine locally until Antonio Candela García, in 1925, founded a small winery. It was then taken over by his son, Antonio Candela Poveda, who made it grow and develop over the years. With the need to create higher quality wines, Bodegas Barahonda was founded in 2006, currently run by Antonio and Alfredo, the fourth generation of the Candela family. From the small wine exploitation to the modern winery that produces quality wines appreciated in international markets, four generations have passed on the knowledge and tradition from father to son.
