Information & Character Fermentation and maceration for 15/20 days, depending on the variety, in contact with the skin the temperature does not exceed 28ºC. A modern, rich wine, powerful in structure, notes of sweetness in the background, very tasty that combines concentration with the expression of the best selected fruit, good aging potential. Fruity, with aromas of ripe red fruit, spices, fine cocoa and toasted wood. Good structure, concentrated and full-bodied, with ripe and sweet tannins. A long, pleasant wine with great persistence.
Production The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and is aged only in oak barrels.
Soil: Calcareous soils with lots of stone
Suitable for Perfect charcuterie, meat dishes of lamb, pork and poultry.
About the Producer
Bodega Luzon is one of the largest producers and exporters of DOP Jumilla wine since it was founded by Don José de Molina. He was a commander of the royal armies stationed in the Philippines and decided to return to his homeland of Jumilla after finishing his military career, naming his property "Finca Luzón" in honor of the island where he spent so much time and which always remained in his life. Since 1966, DOP Jumilla. has become one of the oldest designations of origin in Spain.
