Information & Character This is our more traditional white vermouth made from a young white wine to which we have added an infusion of highly aromatic botanicals to give it its floral, lemony and aniseed flavours. In the mouth it is rich and smooth, sweet, extremely fresh and tart with an elegant bitter aftertaste. Intense and pleasantly spicy aromas welcome the senses and envelop the nose with a mix of floral, citrus and aniseed notes. Initial density on the palate with a pleasant sweetness followed by a sense of fresh acidity. The finish is elegant and very slightly tart, tempting the taster to take another sip.

Suitable for: Suitable as an appetizer or an excellent choice for finger food.

About the Producer

The Padró family's winemaking dates back to 1886 and to the village of Bràfim (Tarragona), which at the time was a bustling agricultural hub with around 400 inhabitants. The very first sales were of wines and liqueur wines loaded onto carts in large but simple barrels and sold directly from there by the first generation of winemaking Padrós: Daniel Padró Porta (1846-1890) and his wife Rosa Valldosera. At that time they ran a fairly humble establishment with just a press and a small amount of distillery equipment to make spirits and anise liqueurs. The fifth generation, is currently in charge of the winery.
